The hotel offers a mix of positive and negative aspects. While the rooms were really dated and in need of a makeover with shocking mold around the bath and stains, they were still clean and comfortable. The service was very helpful and friendly, especially the staff during breakfast. The location, while somewhat dated with mold in places, was superb for shopping and dining purposes. The dining experience varied from very good to not good, with a limited standard full English menu. Facilities received mixed feedback.

The hotel location is superb for exploring Knutsford, right on the high street amidst charming shops, bars, and restaurants. The rooms are in dire need of revamping to match the local standards. The service is hit or miss, from friendly and helpful to ignorant in attending to guests' needs.

The rooms definitely need a complete makeover and modernization to meet the standard of nearby hotels.

The hotel's location is fantastic for walking around Knutsford and accessing Tatton Park, but be prepared for some noise due to its proximity to the airport flight path.

The dining experience left much to be desired with slow service and limited options, though the staff did try to address complaints.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of good and not-so-good experiences. The location is convenient, right on the bustling main street with everything easily accessible, but the noise from nearby pubs can be bothersome. The rooms, while spacious for a family of four, were in a poor state of repair with a cramped layout that made movement challenging. The service staff were friendly and helpful, although there were issues with room servicing. The dining experience was satisfactory with good food choices, but limited breakfast options could be inconvenient. Overall, the hotel offers value for money with both positive and negative aspects to consider.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were in desperate need of a refurb but had lovely extras like soft towels and a coffee machine. The green emergency exit lighting at night made it hard to sleep. The service through the front of the pub was friendly, especially thanks to the adorable Boxer puppy George, but there were parking issues to be aware of. The location was beautiful but noisy due to nearby pubs on a Saturday night. The dining in cereals and fruit juice was pleasant. Overall, a cozy stay with some quirks.
